The Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland
From 1 March 1958 to 31 December 1963, under the law of the Federation there existed “citizenship of Rhodesia and Nyasaland”. After this, the territories reverted to their earlier status, with Southern Rhodesia being a self-governing colony with local citizenship, and the other two territories being protectorates of the UK within the normal UK nationality scheme.The full content is only accessible to our customers.
